Lake Como Comic Art Festival on May 17-18, 2025
Splash Page Art will be back at the historic Villa Erba Convention Center in Cernobbio this year on May 17th & 18th! We will be with two of our amazing Artists, Sean Phillips & Joe Quinones!
SEAN PHILLIPS COMMISSIONS
Sean Phillips is an Eisner award winning illustrator/painter. He was worked for Vertigo, DC & Marvel including Hellblazer, & the huge hit Marvel Zombies, but he's most known these days for being the Co-Creator/Artist of Criminal, the soon to be released Prime Video Series,and the Reckless Graphic Novels (Optioned as a Film starring Sebastian Stan). Ed Brubaker & Sean have worked together for over 20 years on a number of other highly acclaimed titles, Fatale, Incognito, My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies, Night Fever, Sleeper, Fade Out, Kill or Be Killed & Where The Body Was.
Sean is taking a limited number of up to two character, fully painted watercolor pre-commissions ahead of the show for pickup at Lake Como Comic Art Festival. He will most likely only offer less complicated pieces in person at the show.
Two Character Fully Painted Commissions:
- 12 x 16" paper 2 Character Pencils, Inks & Watercolors $1250 USD.
JOE QUINONES COMMISSIONS
Joe Quinones is an American comic book artist and illustrator who has worked in the industry for over 17 years. Notable works include Howard the Duck, Black Canary & Zatanna: Bloodspell, Dial H for Hero and most recently, Batman '89 Mini Series.
Joe will be be taking on pre-commissions to do prior to the show and also offering these options in person at the show as well.
If you are going to the show or have someone who can pick it up for you, you may pre-pay & sign up for a spot now.
If you are not attending and still would like a commission by Joe, you may apply now and as long as he has an opportunity, I can ship out the piece when I return. Please include your shipping address so I can calculate the cost and get you a total.
All commissions will be drawn on pieces of 11 X 14" Comic Art Board.
